2000-2001 Cadillac Controllers - A communication error may occur at the end of the reprogram in the TIS software. If you receive this error once the progress bar goes to 100% you will not be able to reprogram this controller.
All 2004+ GM Controllers - A communication error may occur in the TIS 2000 software after you select a controller to be reprogrammed. To remedy this you need to name the J2534 profile in the TIS 2000 software "Generic Pass Thru" without the quotes.
2002 Chev. Trailblazer - ABS and LGM Fuses must be removed before reprogramming the PCM in this vehicle. The controller can be reflashed Off-Board without any problems.
1999-2003 Corvettes & Cadillacs - GM Requires that a Star Adapter be used during reprogramming the PCM in-vehicle. The controller can be reflashed Off-Board without any problems. Check any TSB's on the vehicle to be sure it requires the adapter.
Saturn PCM's - TIS requires that on some Saturn controllers the BCM module is connected in order to complete a reflash. If you are experiencing problems flashing a Saturn controller Off-Board try installing the PCM in the vehicle and flashing it from the OBD2 port.
1996-1999 Saturn PCM's - TIS may ask to use the Blue Tech 2 DLC connector (part number J41207). Ignore this requirement and proceed to the flash.
1995-1997 Firebird LT1 - On some models, PIN 29 needs to be switched to PIN 30 on our cables to flash this vehicle. Check the wiring diagrams for your vehicle to make sure the pin outs are correct.
1994 Saturn PCM's - This controller is not supported at this time.
2007 Cadillac CTS - This vehicle is currently not supported by the Reprogramming Workbench at this time.
2003 Saturn L200 BCM - The BCM may reject a block transfer and display "Reprogramming Error" in the beginning of reprogramming. If you receive this error you will not be able to reprogram this module.
2000-2004 Chevrolet Malibu/Impala/Monte Carlo BCM Replacement - If the B1001 error code remains in the the vehicle after completing the AirBag Serial Number relearn you will need to use the Tech 2 to perform the "New BCM Setup" procedure.
2004+ GM Single Wire CAN - The reprogramming of GM Single Wire CAN controllers is not supported by the Reprogramming Workbench at this time. There are relatively few Radio and Body controllers that are Single Wire CAN. All Powertrain controllers are supported.
